Expressive Movement Session with Nadine

In this session we will connect to our spontaneity and creativity, working with improvised movements, presence, listening through series of Contemporary Dance and Theatre exercises in a safe space full of expression, playfulness, discovery and connection.

This is an open level session for anyone who wants to move, express and connect to self and others.

Minimum age: 21 years old.

About the Facilitator:

Nadine Emile:

is a performer, choreographer, and facilitator. She is also a radio host and producer on 95.4 FM.

Her expertise extends to conducting workshops in contemporary dance, voice and movement, and playback theatre, she is also a co-founder of the Dawar Playback Theatre Troupe.
As a performer, she performed in III Interrupted, At Your Service, It’s Only the End of the World, Not For Everybody and The NUT Trilogy, to name a few.

As a choreographer she created Exposed, 10 Minutes?!, Entity and Rainbow, a story telling performance by Reem Hatem.
Her formal training includes graduating from SEEDS program for contemporary dance transmission, the Contemporary Dance Workshop Program, and the Psychodrama diploma from the Therapeutic Spiral Institue. She holds a degree in mass communication with a minor in film and theatre from the American University in Cairo.

في الجلسة دي،
هنطلق العنان لعفويتنا وإبداعنا،
وهنشتغل على الحركة، الإصغاء، الارتجال الحركي، والحضور،
عن طريق تمارين رقص ومسرح حركي،
في مساحة آمنة هدفها التعبير، اللعب، الاكتشاف، والتواصل.
الجلسة دي لأي حد نفسه يتحرك، يعبر، ويتواصل مع نفسه والآخرين.
الحد الأدنى للسن: 21 سنة.

عن الميسِّرة

نادين إميل
مدرّبة، ممثلة، راقصة، مصممة رقص، ومذيعة بالإذاعة.
قادت العديد من الورش في الرقص، التمثيل، السيكودراما، والبلاي باك في مصر.
نادين عضو مؤسس، ومدربة، وممثلة في فرقة دوّار لمسرح إعادة التمثيل (البلاي باك).
اشتركت نادين في عدة عروض، من ضمنها:
III Interrupted إخراج منى جميل،
في الخدمة لليلى سليمان،
نهاية العالم ليس إلا لأحمد البوهي،
عرض مش للكل لميريت ميشيل،
ثلاثية نوت لحازم حيدر.
من أعمالها كمصممة رقص:
عرض عشر دقايق،
عرض كيان في مهرجان البقية تأتي،
عرض قوس قزح من إخراج ريم حاتم.
درست في برنامج جذور،
وهو برنامج لتدريب مدربين الرقص المعاصر.
هي أيضًا خريجة برنامج ورشة القاهرة للرقص المعاصر،
تحت إشراف لورونس روندوني،
وهو برنامج مدته أربعة أعوام لتعليم الرقص المعاصر.
حصلت على دبلومة في السيكودراما،
من Therapeutic Spiral Institute،
على يد المدرب بن ريفرز.
تخرجت نادين من الجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة،
تخصص صحافة وإعلام،
وتخصص فرعي في المسرح والسينما.
