Description
From Port Said folk to Cairo's Afro-Oriental groove. El Tanbura have spent nearly four decades preserving Port Said's musical traditions, led by the simsimiyya, hand percussion and chanting vocals. Mazeek follow with a contemporary live-band fusion of Egyptian, Sudanese and North African folklore.
Date: Saturday, October 17, 2026. Doors open at 8 PM.
Venue: Cairo Jazz Club (CJC), 197 A, 26th of July St, Agouza.
