Our Story
Ascent was founded by climbers, who like many Egyptians got introduced to the sport while traveling abroad. Driven by the passion for the sport and its lifestyle we worked hard to bring an international standard facility to Cairo.

We opened our doors in 2021 as Egypt's first dedicated climbing facility, and we're pretty proud of what we've accomplished so far:

Over 9000 climbers have been to our facility in Cairo.
Over 500 advanced climbing courses taught.
6 competitions hosted to date with a total of 500 participants.

First Egyptian climbing gym to register as a climbing academy with the Egyptian Sports and Youth ministry.
Starting Egypts first youth climbing program .
